Our Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) management system is focused on the prevention of problems in order to assure the safe production of our products.
HACCP applies technical and scientific principles to all phases of the food production process, including agricultural, food prep & handling, food processing, food service, distribution systems, and consumer handling.

Smith Packing Company Ground Beef Patties are ALWAYS manufactured using raw material tested for E.coli 0157:H7.
As a standard operating procedure, our fully cooked sausage products are laboratory tested for listeria to insure that our processed meats are safe & delicious. Listeria testing is scheduled in compliance with USDA protocol.
